Suicide prevention isn’t just knowing what to do in a crisis, it’s knowing how we can support someone way before that moment of crisis ever arrives. Suicide is often connected to people’s environments, emotional health, access to care, and so much more. Prevention has to happen every day, in a million small ways. In systems that give people the care they need. In a society that treats people as fully human.
