Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney Douglas R. Lloyd announced today that his office has secured a restitution award on behalf of the family of John Hubbard, who was murdered in Eaton County in 1986. The award provides compensation to the Hubbard family for approximately forty years of lost income and pension benefits, as well as funeral expenses incurred after their husband and father was senselessly murdered.

What an incredible evening of food, fellowship, music, and community at The Quarry celebrating National Night Out! Prosecutor Lloyd and members of the staff appreciated the opportunity to meet members of our community in a more relaxed setting than the courtroom. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and spend time with us.

A huge thank you to The Quarry, Charlotte Michigan Police Department, the Potterville Police Department, Eaton County Sheriff's Office, Charlotte Fire Department, Eaton EMS, and Eaton County 911, for partnering with us and helping make this event such a success. It is nights like tonight that remind us we are much more similar than different and we really do live in a fantastic community.

A very special thank you goes to our Victim Advocates, Erica Baker and Taylor Warren, whose hard work, dedication, and behind-the-scenes efforts made the evening possible. We truly appreciate everything you do for our community!
