Chataignier-Second Harvest: Thursday, Feb. 26th is food delivery. Volunteers are needed from 8:00 till finished. Saturday, Feb. 28th is food distribution day. Volunteers are needed 6:30 till after cleanup. Please volunteer, we can’t do this without your help.

Second Harvest delivery is scheduled for Dec 18th. Volunteers are needed 8:00 am until finished sorting and bagging. Distribution is on Dec 20th. Volunteers are needed from 6:30 am until 10:00 am and cleanup is finished.

The Second Harvest schedule for November is as follows: Delivery will take place on Thursday, November 20th, and distribution will occur on Saturday, November 22nd.

Volunteers are needed for both days. Volunteers are necessary to keep the program running. Call Jamaine Brasseaux or Geneva Lartigue to commit.

Yearly cycle is July 2025-June 2026. If you have not yet applied for this cycle, applications can be obtained at the Village Hall (885-2500) during their regular hours.

Delivery-8:00-8:30 am until finished. Includes taking bins out of the way, accepting the delivery, placing food in the appropriate areas (frig, freezer, or shelves), sorting, and bagging the food.

Distribution-6:00-6:30 am until food supply is depleted or 10:00 am. Includes taking the bins outside, placing tables outside, and placing bagging area inside and bringing cold items outside, placing food items into neighbors’ vehicles, etc.

Cleanup-immediately after and takes about 30-45 minutes .
