Good evening Cherryville Elementary. This is Principal Black calling with some weekly updates and reminders.

This week we will be Celebrating our Colors as a school. Monday will be red day and we are asking all staff and students to wear red clothing to celebrate. Please see our page for all of the colors we will be celebrating next week.

Your child will also bring home information about our school fundraiser. We will be choosing 2 lucky family to win a Cherry Pass. This pass will allow the families to skip the car rider line and pick up their student directly in front of the school each afternoon during the first quarter. This fundraiser will occur each winner to give families a chance to win throughout the entire school year. Each chance costs $10. The winner will be announced on September 11.

We would also like to announce a few safety reminders for our families:
*Visitors must have their ID to visit, eat lunch, or sign out students.
*No dismissals will be allowed after 1:45 each day.
*All car rider tags should hang from your mirror or visor for quick visibility.

CES's SKIP THE AFTERNOON CAR LINE fundraiser will begin September 2!
2 lucky families will win the privilege of skipping the pm car line and picking their students up directly at the front of the school from September 14- October 23. Each chance costs $10. You may purchase as many chances as your would like. Look for the form to come home in your child's folder next week.

Good evening Cherryville Elementary. This is Principal Black with a few reminders. We had such a wonderful first week and we are so excited to have all K-3 students back tomorrow. Just a reminder that drop off can be at the front of the school or at the bus lot between 7:15 and 7:30. In the afternoons, Kindergarten and Second grade students dismiss at the front of the school and first and third graders dismiss at the bus lot. All students should be picked up at 2:30. Thank you for entrusting us with your children. We look forward to a wonderful school year.

Thank you CES families for making this first day of school a success.

Just a few reminders as we begin our school year.

- Students can be dropped off at either the front of the school or at the bus lot between 7:15 - 7:30 each morning.

- Kindergarten and Second Graders will pick up at the front of the school in the afternoon.

- First and Third graders will pick up at the bus lot.

- Siblings will go with the youngest sibling to be picked up.

- Students dismiss at 2:30.
