We would like to also thank the families of the fallen officers and the families of those that serve. So in May of 2017 I rode into DC carrying the flag of fallen Detective Robert Williamson. His wife and kids happened to be there awaiting our arrival and I got to meet them. Since that day, his wife, Maureen, has kept in touch with me and we meet up when she vacations to FL from NY. I had dinner with her and some of Bobby’s retired colleagues last night. Maureen still talks about how much that day meant to her and how special it was for her and her kids. I just wanted to remind you all that what you do is so meaningful, so impactful, and so important. Honor the fallen, and REMEMBER THE SURVIVORS 🖤💙🖤

Good evening to my LEU family. I just wanted to reach out to all today. I received some sad news today. In 2018 I rode for New Orleans officer Marcus McNeil. At the arrival I was honored and fortunate to meet his wife, kids, mom, aunts, partner and his grandmother Alvena McNeil. I was able to spend a lot of time with them that day and really got to talk with Alvena. Alvena and I kept in touch since then. Well today her daughter texted me and informed me that she passed away. She is a wonderful woman and loved her family and Marcus very much. She is also a survivor. Well now she can be with her Marcus. 😢 please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. I wanted to also throw this out there. I am from PA. So I didn’t know if any members lived in the New Orleans area. Maybe they could make an appearance at the viewing or funeral. I have posted the details. Also some pictures of my time with the family. Thanks and stay safe. This is Kelly Legier, Alvena's daughter. Please share Funeral Services for Alvena B.
