Each year VA-ACME awards Scholarships. VA-ACME was established to promote, support and deliver meaningful education within all branches of the Armed Services by encouraging educational institutions to be innovative and flexible in meeting educational needs. VA-ACME provides a forum for the discussion of current issues and planning for future programming. They encourage cooperative and coordinated efforts for efficient and effective educational services for Armed Services personnel and their family members.

The Student Spotlight Award, co-sponsored by the Veterans United Foundation, is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their academic achievement to the military and civilian educational community by explaining how credentials and higher education have led to sustainable and successful outcomes in their careers and lives. 3. Suspension Rate: Decrease the suspension rate below 5%.
4. Course Average: Increase course averages above 70% in reading/language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Virginia National Guard Airmen assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 203rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer Squadron, 192nd Wing receive a visit from Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, Sept. 9, 2020, before they make final preparations and depart for a deployment Sept. 12, 2020, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 203rd RHS specializes in expeditionary air base construction.
