For better part of 2 years the Supervisor and I were in complete disagreement. When the voters overwhelmingly re-elected him and his vision - I felt obligated to look for common ground and work collaboratively to make our Township all that it can be. In August, the voters will decide how vibrant and quickly our Parks and Rec will move forward! I will stay the course and support his vision.

Chesterfield residents, please be sure to stop by the Community Center and pick up your season pass - NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Our Board recently voted to end the practice of taxing you and then charging fees to enjoy YOUR park.

Brandenburg Park is officially open for the season! ☀️🌊 Here's what visitors need to know before heading out:

• Park entry fees are now in effect
• Brandenburg Park is open daily from 5AM-10PM
• Residents receive free entry with a season pass obtained from the Community Center. Free resident passes are not available at the booth.
• Daily vehicle entry: $10 per vehicle
• Non-resident season passes: $35 each and available at the booth
• Splash pad open daily from 11AM-7PM, weather permitting
• Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash

We can’t wait to see you at the park this season!

Chesterfield residents no longer required to pay gate fees to enter Brandenburg Park. Season Passes available now to Chesterfield residents at no additional charge! Stop by the Community Center today.

Starting today, Chesterfield Township residents can obtain a free season pass for entry to Brandenburg Park. Please review the details below for information on how to pick up your pass:

🔹 Visit the Chesterfield Community Center, 48400 Sugarbush, starting May 1, 2026. Community Center hours are Monday-Thursday 8AM-8PM, Friday 8AM-4:30PM, and Saturday 9AM-3PM.
🔹 Register your household account. Residents will be asked to provide proof of Chesterfield Township residency in the form of an official tax bill, water bill, or valid ID.
🔹 Be prepared to provide the vehicle license plate number. Limit one vehicle per resident ages 16 and older.
🔹 Pass must be affixed the lower left hand corner (drivers side) of the window. Passes held in hand will not be granted access to the park.
🔹 Resident Passes are only available at the Community Center, they will not be available at the booth.
🔹Access to Brandenburg Park will be granted during operating hours. Brandenburg Park is open Monday-Sunday 5AM-10PM.

Non-resident season passes are available at the booth for $35 each. 2026 daily vehicle entry is $10 per vehicle. If a resident does not have a season pass, they will be required to pay the $10 entry fee to enter the park.

April 12-18, 2026, is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week! This week is dedicated to the men and women serving as public safety telecommunicators/dispatchers.

Please join Chesterfield Township, the Chesterfield Township Police Department, and the Chesterfield Fire Department in expressing our appreciation and gratitude to those serving as public safety telecommunicators. They are our citizens’ first contact with emergency services, and a vital link for our law enforcement officers and firefighters - monitoring radio activity, and providing guidance, assistance, and information to help ensure our safety.

Though rarely seen, Public Safety Telecommunicators positively contribute to the successful outcome of many critical situations. Thank you to our public safety telecommunicators/dispatchers!
