⚠️ EVENT POSTPONED ⚠️

Due to forecasted inclement weather, the 2nd Annual Camping with the Community: A Family Affair scheduled for June 13-14 has been postponed.

The safety and comfort of our residents, volunteers, and participants remain our top priority. We are working to secure a new date and will share that information as soon as it is finalized.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to bringing our Lynwood families together for a great community event in the near future.

🚧♿ The Village of Lynwood is evaluating sidewalks, crosswalks, and pathways to improve accessibility throughout the community.

Beginning next week, field crews will be walking Village sidewalks and collecting measurements. This work will help identify opportunities to make sidewalks, crosswalks, and pathways safer and more accessible for residents and visitors with disabilities. 📏🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Please use caution, give crews plenty of space, and be mindful of their presence, especially near crosswalks and along roadways. ⚠️🚸

⚾️ Due to this morning’s rain, the Lynwood Little League 2026 Opening Day Parade has been postponed by one hour and will now begin at 10:00 AM.

We still invite all residents, families, and supporters to come out and celebrate Opening Day with our young athletes and the Lynwood Little League community.

🌭 Lynwood Police & Fire will still be providing hotdogs and hamburgers for all children.

Thank you to Rob’s Meats and Walt’s Foods for their support and donations.

Looking to get active, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the outdoors? Lynwood residents have two great opportunities this season to focus on health, wellness, and community. 💪🏾🚶🏾‍♂️☀️

The Village of Lynwood “Walk & Talk” Spring/Summer Series kicks off today from 5PM–6PM at Lakeview Park. Join Village elected officials and department heads for an evening walk focused on fitness and community connection.

Residents also have the opportunity to participate in the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library Summer Run/Walk Club beginning June 1 through August 26 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30AM–10:30AM at Liberty Memorial Park.

Most importantly, Village of Lynwood elected officials and staff will be at the park in ONE HOUR. Bring your walking shoes, bring a friend, and come walk with us. 👟🌳
