Nature should feel welcoming for everyone.
Across the Forest Preserves, people of all abilities can find new ways to explore, play and connect with the outdoors. All-terrain wheelchairs open up unpaved trails, adaptive kayaks create opportunities on the water, and accessible campsites, fishing areas and picnic shelters make outdoor adventures easier to plan.

Fifteen minutes after our ICash hours opened today we have four people in line waiting to see if they have unclaimed funds with the state of Illinois. Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs' staff member is here to help people determine whether they have unclaimed funds. Last month, nearly $6,000 were claimed by people walking into our office. How much will be claimed today? ICash hours are open today until 1 p.m. at my office, 220 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights.
