Our Story
REUNION is an art gallery, event space and project incubator located in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood. Event/cultural producer Kristen Kaza and brand strategist/ cultural producer Elijah McKinnon assumed management of the space in 2016, with a mission to provide a collaborative and grounding environment for q***r, people of color and femme-identified individuals in creative roles.

Calling all of my Black identifying q***r fam to join me this upcoming Sunday February 23 at our 2nd Fit + Lit. This time around we are plugging into Q***r Care Day with Reunion Chicago and Howard Brown Health. I will be leading a functional strength and conditioning workout, followed by a meditation and health and wellness centered healing circle. Brave space agreements built by social and emotional consultant Jenna Anast will be stated pre-workout and reinforced during the healing circle.
After a LIT health and fitness session 😉💪🏾, enjoy vendors from Black q***r and trans wellness leaders, including crystal healing, massage, healthy eats and more!

The multi-hyphenate creator is the new Executive Director of OTV - Open Television, a web-based production and distribution channel for Q***r TV, and is the cofounder of Reunion Chicago, an incubator and events space for q***r people of color. They run People Who Care, a consultancy that works exclusively with nonprofits and grassroots initiatives, including: AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Northwestern University, The Andy Warhol Foundation, Grindr for Equality, Raúl Anguiano Art Museum, Center for Disease Control and many more.
