Are you interested in presenting a virtual gallery talk about an artwork in the Art Institute’s collection? GRADTalk is seeking presenters for a virtual event featuring grad students and postdocs delivering short, 10-minute talks on an artwork of their choice. Unlike a traditional gallery talk, these presentations should focus on your own research and how it helps us understand the artwork in a different light. You can explore the collection through the online catalogue and if you are interested in participating, please fill out this application form by April 1: https://uchicagograd.wufoo.com/forms/zn8b1fp1faf008/.

For questions please contact Michael O’Toole at [email protected].

The University of Chicago is excited to bring you the Data Science & Business Analytics Career Fair to connect employers with advanced degree quantitative and computational talent. Hosted by UChicagoGRAD and the University of Chicago Professional Education (UCPE), this is a great opportunity to build professional relationships in the growing fields of data science and business analytics.

This specialized career fair will take place virtually, via Symplicity's Virtual Career Fair platform.

STUDENTS/POSTDOCS: To be included in the DS&BA resume book, which will be distributed to participating employers ahead of the fair, first upload the resume you would like to use to your profile in GRAD Gargoyle. Set that resume as your default resume. Doing so will tell the system that this is the resume you would like added to the book. Once you have completed this step and registered for the fair, inclusion of your resume in the resume book will be automatic. If you would like your resume to be included in the resume book, the deadline for completing these steps is February 22, 2021 at 10:00 am Central. Late submissions unfortunately cannot be accepted. Employers will receive resume books a few days ahead of the fair and may invite individuals whose resumes appear in the book to sign up to chat with them.

If you miss the deadline for inclusion in the resume book, employers will be able to view your resume by clicking into your profile, so please upload a resume to your profile anyway. Employers who register for the fair will be able to browse GRAD Gargoyle profiles for students once they RSVP for the fair, so we encourage you to fill your profile out to completion, as well.

Visit gradgargoyle.uchicago.edu to register for this event.

Good afternoon! I can't pay my taxes because a payment issue from last fall hasn't been resolved, and I still don't have the correct paperwork despite repeated inquiries. I thought a public post here might help facilitate the process.
*N.B.: A critique of UCLA Con Law Prof. Adam Winkler's Anti-2nd Amendment/Anti-Corporate Personhood Philosophy - Socratic Dialectical Inquiries – #1) Do Corporations & Blacks Have Personhood? #2) If Black People were granted Due Process under law, Citizenship, Equality which is "Personhood" under the 14th Amendment (on 9 July 1868) even though God granted U.S. "Personhood" at BIRTH!), then why is the Democrat Party, the Marxist-Darwinist-Eugenicist Academy and the Political Left so ANGRY that Personhood was granted to Corporations (Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Company, 118 U.S. 394 (1886) which are created by and composed of... (wait for it....) P-E-O-P-L-E!?? - Including Black People who create Businesses and Corporations all the time. ANSWER? Because to the Democrat Socialist Party and the Left the STATE is god and the omnipotent Leviathan State can countenance no competition, no departure from Consensus Groupthink... especially from Woke Black People (like me and you who are my Facebook Friends) nor from Businesses and Corporations Unleashed, Unshackled from Liberal Fascism. Natural Law seeks to FREE U.S. from Taxation without Representation, Crony Capitalism & Socialism SLAVERY. Natural Law seeks to FREE U.S. to use our God-given Talent to create an Economy based on Dynamism, Creativity and Laissez Faire (Free Market) C-A-P-I-T-A-L-I-S-M! Here is Part II of my Essay series -- "Democrat Party Racism, Corporate Personhood, and the Right to Bear Arms Against Government Democide—Part II". If you like it, please share with Professors & People, Social Media & Institutions who need Enlightenment & VERITAS. Ellis Washington | September 12, 2019
