Dear members of RAS-ACS: The ABS is convening a 12-member committee to address the issues with the Qualifying Exam this summer. At our request, the board has invited 3 RAS-ACS members (and an alternate) to join this committee. We are soliciting your applications and will select representatives in the following manner:
-1st representative: A resident or fellow who is a member of RAS who attempted to take the ABS general surgery QE this year. -2nd representative: An Associate member of RAS who attempted and passed the QE within the last 3 years-3rd representative: A resident/fellow or associate member of RAS who is board eligible or board certified who has served in a leadership position within RAS (liaison, representative, committee leader).
An alternate will be identified from one of these groups. Please forward by no later than 12pm EST on July 31st 2020 to
