Read our latest WHO Quality of Life Report:https://www.caslservice.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/CASL-WHOQOL-2021-Report-Q1.pdf

CASL's Center for Social Impact administers quarterly World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) assessments to better understand the degrees to which clients' satisfaction with life are affected by their sociocultural and environmental contexts.

The WHOQOL assessment contains 26 questions about physical and psychological health, social relationships, and environment. CASL provided English and Chinese versions to 425 clients over the span of a month. The resulting reports contain selection criteria, distribution methods, and data collection and analysis. The data we collected offers insight to our programming and supports our ongoing self evaluation.

Key findings for the past quarter include:

---94% completion rate during this response collection period
---Age and educational attainment were found to be predictive of score changes across all 4 domains
---In a subsample of clients with baseline data, social relationship scores were significantly different between sexes

We encourage you to share this report with any interested parties. Questions? Contact Pingjing Zou, Director of the Center for Social Impact, at (312) 725-5229 or [email protected].

Will a remap battle pit Asian community against Daley clan?

The importance of representation for the AAPI community, the fastest growing population in Chicago, cannot be understated. Establishing an Asian-majority ward will give AAPI communities a much stronger voice in local government. CASL stands with our Chinatown community partners!
