Arcturus Rudolf Steiner Education Program Arcturus has worked for 22 years in Chicago, providing engaged, motivated and open-minded individuals with a professional waldorf training. Arcturus has worked for twenty two years in Chicago, providing engaged, motivated and open-minded individuals with a professional Waldorf Teacher Education training, as well as providing a source of personal growth and development through weekend classes in a collaborative environment.

These classes open participants to new possibilities and potential in their present work and daily life, and can provide a prerequisite certification for a new or renewed profession.

Mission: The Arcturus Teacher Education Program aims to create a comprehensive learning experience for adults seeking to engage the conceptual and artistic dimensions of Rudolf Steiner’s worldview, which he called Anthroposophy. It encourages students to consider this worldview and its applications in both their personal life path and in society. The Program focuses on the preparation of Waldorf teachers through transformative adult education. To this end, Arcturus engages the education of the universal human in all of its participants, and honors the whole human being by addressing the conscious development of body, soul, and spirit. We combine conceptual study, artistic practice, faculty mentoring, and student initiative to form a program that recognizes and fosters a dynamic learning process in its individual students, teachers, and in the group as a whole.
