Chicago's rideshare drivers are facing unfair deactivations and immigration raids—and many don't know their rights when they get in an accident.

We're working with the city of Chicago to run the first-of-its-kind Driver Resource Center, providing education and training to drivers and helping them navigate industry-wide issues.

We're excited to be working with the Chicago Mayor's Office, City of Chicago – Government, Chicago Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, and Alderperson Michael D. Rodriguez to raise awareness about drivers' legal protections and workers' rights.

VICTORY! Over 100,000 rideshare drivers across Illinois won the right to form a union through the passage of the Rideshare Drivers’ Union Bill.

This victory was made possible because drivers organized and showed up at the Capitol to share their stories of low pay, unsafe conditions, unjust deactivations, and the struggle to support their families while these companies made billions. We organized with SEIU Local 1 and IAMAW Automobile Mechanics Local 701 through Illinois Drivers Alliance to fight for our rights against app companies like Uber and Lyft.

Thank you to Chief Sponsors State Senator Ram Villivalam and State Representative Yolonda Morris for their leadership in helping get this historic legislation across the finish line.

WE JUST MADE HISTORY. Over 100,000 rideshare drivers in Illinois won the right to form a union with the passage of the Rideshare Drivers’ Union Bill in the final hours before the legislative session ended.

We did this by standing up and fighting back—refusing to stay silent about low pay, dangerous conditions, unjust deactivations, and the daily struggle to support our families while Uber and Lyft raked in billions. We organized with SEIU Local 1 and IAMAW Automobile Mechanics Local 701 through Illinois Drivers Alliance to take on rideshare app giants and WIN.
