College Bridge consists of two programs: Academic Year Bridge and Summer Bridge. Eligible students can apply to either program or both programs. Courses available range from biology to history to the humanities. Subjects open to Bridge students vary depending on the courses offered for the quarter and student preparedness. Applicants to The University of Chicago College Bridge program:
1. Must maintain a 3.6 un-weighted GPA,
2. Must have earned a grade of B or higher in all high school courses in the subject area requested for study at UChicago,
3. Must have completed the highest level offered at your high school (usually AP) in the subject area requested for study at UChicago,
4. Must have maintained a 95% attendance rate; and

Current students at the University of Chicago may get involved as well! Each high school student will be paired with a UChicago student mentor. The role of the mentor is to help Bridge students adjust to the university environment, academically and socially. Mentors play a large part in helping shape the Bridge student's experiences at UChicago, from tutoring to giving advice on college life. The mentor position is one year long, with the possibility of extending to a second or third year. You are required to be at UChicago for all three quarters in order to participate in the program.
