Neighborhood Alert

Response to neighborhood alert from yesterday:

Dear Neighbor,

There has been a rumor going around on social media that the blue light camera at the south side of River Park is not working. That, in fact, is incorrect and we have been told by the 20th Police District that it does work and they have footage to help in the investigation. They have some good leads and are hoping to bring this to a conclusion quickly.

Our community's safety has always been, and will continue to be, our #1 concern and my office will continue to work together with the CAPS police and neighbors to do everything we can to keep our neighborhood safe.

Thank you,

Ald. Pat O'Connor
