Dan Proft is best known for his tenure hosting morning radio shows on WLS, including his recent and wildly successfully new venture hosting Chicago’s AM560 The Answer. However, Dan is also a former Republican candidate for Governor, a commentator for Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNBC, and an editorial contributor for the Chicago Tribune. He has appeared on Chicago television programs, such as ABC 7 and Fox Chicago. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for the Disabled Patriot Fund, Freedom to Learn-Illinois, Aid for Women, and the Illinois Opportunity Project. While running his own company, Dan caught the eye of many elected officials and began consulting and building relationships on his way to becoming a well-respected authority of change and progress in Illinois. Mr. Proft created the Liberty Principles PAC to make independent expenditures in support of liberty oriented policies and candidates. Basically, have checks and balances for the current state of Illinois legislators. Should the legislator stray from their core and our principles – we actively work to replace the legislator with a conservative who is in line with our principles. Through mailers for and against candidates, television ads, fundraisers, and so-forth; supporters have an active ‘voice’ in the ‘turnaround’ of our home state.
Mission: Liberty Principles PAC supports candidates for state and local offices who are committed to the economic liberty policy agenda. As an Independent Expenditure PAC, Liberty Principles PAC provides this support uncoordinated from the campaigns and candidates it supports as required by law.
