Siris and Hamilton are excited to let you know their new enclosures have been built! A huge thank you to Lowe’s for the lumber donation and everyone who supported the Whiskers and Wings event! Those funds went towards the construction of the enclosures. There’s still a lot of work to be done until it’s move in ready, but we’re getting closer every day! 🏠🧹🪠🪣 🔨🪚🦉🪶. The cost of just the labor and concrete was over $10,000. If you would like to donate to the rest of the needed materials, there’s a link on our website!

8 years ago today, this animal came to us after being taken out of the wild at 4 weeks old and was attempted to be kept as a pet. Wildlife never makes a good pet! Due to the actions of the humans who took him, he was deemed non-releasable because he was too comfortable with people. Not only is Ike an incredibly handsome gray fox, but he's also been an amazing ambassador for his species, teaching people around the state to leave baby wildlife alone. In most cases, their mom is close by. As much as I appreciate every second I get to spend working with Ike, he should have had the chance to be a wild fox. Happy 8 years Ike, I hope we get at least 8 more years to show people how awesome foxes are!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to Whiskers & Wings on Saturday! There’s a lot of ! in this post because I’m so excited to say thank yous! We had the best team of volunteers to help the event run smoothly and wonderful supporters who came out for the day! RAVEn duo was fantastic with their awesome music and Dolce Bar Cart’s charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres were outstanding. We can’t thank our sponsors Lori Arthur and Dugan Hat Co enough! Didn’t get to take too many pics, so thank you to everyone who shared their photos!
