Agape Center NRV honors Dolly Parton and her contribution to childhood literacy.💜

Agape Center NRV is proud to have been an information resource for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library over the past two years. In our center one can find pamphlets, which will lead to an easy sign up process for free books from Imagination Library.💜

The program offers free books for newborns through age 5. So please, take advantage of this amazing program that Dolly Parton established over three decades ago!💜

May Dolly Rebecca Parton rest in peace, and may God bless her family and all those she has generously helped over her lifetime. 🙏

All of us at Agape Center NRV would like to express our sincerest appreciation to Food Lion, Blue Ridge Church, Gearheads for a Cause, and the NRV community for making our cruise-in such a success last Sunday!🎉

It was great to see so many families and automotive enthusiasts joining us for a day of fun and fellowship. From classics to modern muscle, from off roaders to Harleys, I believe that every vehicle type was represented. We even had a vintage WWII motorcycle in attendance!

I also want to give a special shout out to the Christiansburg Fire Department for joining us. Thank you for attending and for keeping our community safe!

We look forward to the next time that the NRV community can join us for an event! Please remember, Agape Center NRV exists only by God’s will and through the support of people like you. We are always here to serve the physical, but especially the spiritual needs of the New River Valley, whenever someone finds themselves in need!💜

Agape Center NRV wishes to say THANK YOU to NASCAR driver, Stacy Compton, for making Saturday a very special day for Jaden Millington! In the midst of coordinating track activities at Pulaski Motor Speedway, Stacy made time to speak with Jaden. 🏁

He then signed an autograph card and diecast NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race truck for this young man. He also made time for his dad, U.S. Army Veteran, Chris Millington, and Agape Center NRV Director, Reg Crockett. Hey, around race tracks and race car drivers, we’re all just big kids! 🏁

Stacy has plans to make the speedway much more than just a racetrack, but also an entertainment hub and meeting place for the NRV community. So all of us at Agape Center NRV want to thank Stacy for bringing the circle track and dragstrip back to life, and we look forward to working with him in all that he has planned going forward. 🏁

We celebrate and honor our very own Lucy Copeland for her faithful service to Agape Center NRV!🎉💜 She is moving away from the area, and we will dearly miss her!

Lucy has worn more hats than we can count, always stepping in wherever she was needed with a servant's heart and unwavering compassion. One of her many lasting contributions was bringing the Diaper Pantry to Agape, providing an essential resource for so many families in our community.💜

Through every season, Lucy has kept the needs of our neighbors at the center of everything she does. Her kindness, dedication, and love have made Agape a stronger, more caring place.
Lucy, thank you for your years of faithful service, your generous spirit, and the countless lives you've touched. We are beyond grateful for you!💜
