Showers and embedded thunderstorms will continue to move across the area this morning. There could be some locally heavy rainfall. Storms are forecast to develop on Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere will still be very favorable for any storms that do develop to produce heavy rain.

Duke Energy reports about 40,000 outages across Clermont County. Outages can be expected to take 24 hours or more to be restored given the severity of storms across the region. Please drive with caution and give the Duke crews room to work. They are actively working to restore power as quickly and safely possible.
