50501 Cincy is now Cincinnati RISES. Our name may have changed but our values and goals remain the same.

The 50501 Movement was born on February 5, 2025, as a decentralized rapid response to the anti-democratic (anti-American), illegal, and overreaching actions of the Trump administration and its allies. The idea (50 protests in 50 states, all happening on 1 day) was shared on Reddit and spread rapidly on social media. In just days, regular people pulled off over 80 peaceful protests in all 50 states: With no budget, no centralized structure, no leadership team, no official backing, no permission. Since then, the coalition has grown, along with the number of protests. The numbers have grown, ultimately culminating in the largest single- day protest in US history. 50501 has mobilized millions of people and brought together a growing network of organizations - and developed a huge number of organizers who have stepped up to stand up, raise their voices, and push back against the consolidation of power that is hurting (and in some cases, killing) our friends and neighbors.

50501 Cincy was created and participated in that first protest way back in February 2025 and has grown steadily since then. But what you may not know is that all 50501 chapters are their own individual entities. There is no power structure, no hierarchy.

So to avoid confusion: We are rebranding. 50501 Cincy will now be known as Cincinnati RISES. If you need to contact us, you can reach out via the same methods as always until further notice. We are transitioning to new email and social accounts reflecting the RISES branding but will retain access to our current accounts for the foreseeable future; we only ask that you allow some grace as we transition everything over.

The organizers you know and love are still here and are still focusing our energy on all of the same things. We’re still going to show up as good partners to other organizations.

When the call comes to take to the streets again, we will be there...and we hope you will be too.

50501 Cincy is looking for art submissions for our All of Us Art Slam!

—we want to see your work.

What does it mean to be an American? What does community mean to you?
All of Us is a celebration of the America we want to create, while recognizing how much work remains. We aim to repair our history, rather than erase it, and build an America that truly welcomes and celebrates all of us.
Selected submissions will be featured across 50501 Cincy’s social media, newsletter, and printed materials. Some artists may also be invited to participate in an in-person event later this year.

All of Us by 50501 Cincy will be a summer long digital campaign and possibly in person around town later in the year. To be respectful of all the Pride events around town throughout June we are kicking off our campaign in July and are excited to see what everyone does!!

📲 Scan the QR code or visit the link in our bio for submission details.

PROTEST ICE. SUPPORT LATINO ATHLETES. PROTECT ALL IMMIGRANTS.

Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 12:30 PM at Great American Ball Park to stand for immigrant communities, human dignity, and the rights that belong to all of us.

We reject inhumane detention centers and policies that separate families and target immigrant communities. We stand with Latino athletes, immigrant workers, students, families, and neighbors.

Then at 7:30 PM, celebrate and honor America 250 — our way by uplifting the values of freedom, equality, and the First Amendment.

Can’t attend in person? Don’t watch a fight — watch people come together.

📺 Livestream the Concert for the First Amendment at riseupsingout.com

✊ Raise your voice.
🎶 Sing out.
❤️ Stand together.

Join us for a protest against ICE and in support of Latino ballplayers and all immigrants near the Great American ballpark on Sunday May 31 at 12:30pm, for one hour before game time.

As ICE threatens all immigrants, even the privileged aren’t safe. Professional Latino ballplayers are facing threats from excessive immigration enforcement too.

Come show your solidarity not just with our local ballplayers who are immigrants, but with all immigrants who are being persecuted.

We will congregate on Second St. near Joe Nuxhall Way at 12:30pm. The location has been coordinated with the police.

Please bring your friends, signs, whistles and drums.

There will be additional protests at Sunday home games throughout the season.

For additional information please contact Rabbi Jonathan Perlman, [email protected]

Cincy Women’s Advocacy will be participating in the Children’s Day Festival again this year on June 6th, and are in need of books to pass out to the kids attending.

If you or anyone you know has new or gently used books that you are looking to rehome, please reach out and we will gladly take them off your hands! We are also accepting donations via Venmo and our fundraising link in our bio.

Any books left over from the festival will be used to help restock little libraries around Cincinnati.
