We are so thankful to Congresswoman Judy Chu for securing this meaningful investment for Claremont.
This $850,000.00 in Community Project Funding is a testament to the power of our Claremont community’s shared vision and the importance of a strong federal partnership. This is an investment into critical infrastructure improvements that will support the Village South Specific Plan, moving us forward in Claremont’s tradition of thoughtful and intentional development projects that will enhance our community’s future. Village South is sure to be a vibrant, walkable, welcoming mixed use development that will make us proud and that future residents and visitors will truly enjoy.

I was proud to deliver $850,000 in federal community project funding that I secured in Congress to the City Of Claremont for the South Village Public Infrastructure Improvements Project!

Claremont has always taken great pride in building strong, vibrant neighborhoods. This new walkable, transit-oriented community will provide new and affordable housing while supporting local businesses and strengthening Claremont’s economy for years to come!

In cooperation with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, annual trail grading operations will take place beginning Monday, July 6 through Friday July 10. During this time, section of trails may be subject to closure to ensure safe operation of heavy equipment. Closures will occur at junctions and alternative routes will be available. Closure areas will be noted with signs and will only remain closed during work periods.

Partial/temporary closures are put in place during these operations as trails are not passable when heavy equipment is in use. We kindly ask all visitors to respect the closure for your safety and to allow crews to maintain the trail system.
