The Clarence Town Pool opens on Sunday, June 16, at 1 p.m. Hours are 1-6 p.m., June 16-23, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., weekdays, and Noon – 7 p.m., on weekends and holidays. A Clarence Town Pool ID card is required.

The Town is adding six new pickleball courts to Town Place Park on Goodrich Rd., doubling the number of courts at the park. Crews are also cleaning and prepping all our courts for the summer season.

Clarence Center’s merchants and residents held their Summer Stroll and Bikes in Bloom on Saturday, June 8. Bikes in Bloom which will be up for your enjoyment through Labor Day.

The Memorial Day Parade is canceled due to possible rain with lighting. There will be a ceremony at 11:00 a.m., in the Town Park Club House.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Tomorrow's ceremonies are expected to continue as planned.

If there is extremely heavy rain or lightning, the parade will be canceled (American Legion Post 838 will make the decision/announcement around 10:30 a.m.), and the Memorial Day Ceremonies will be relocated inside the Club House.

Congratulations to the Clarence Red Devils Flag Football Team on their second consecutive Section VI championship! After the game, they were joined by Damar Hamlin and Dion Dawkins of the Buffalo Bills for a team photo.

Clarence's flag football team won its second straight Section VI Division I championship, defeating Jamestown 33-6 at Highmark Stadium on Monday.

Clarence Superintendent of Highways James Dussing (l-r), Councilman Peter DiCostanzo, and Supervisor Patrick Casilio inspect the new pocket park under construction on Goodrich Rd. in front of the former Highway Department garage and offices which will be converted into a recreation building. The pocket park will include a pavilion, restrooms, and bike path improvements. It is scheduled to be completed in time for Labor Day Weekend.
