Our Leeper Senior center had so much fun learning about birds from Gene Krasicki from the DCNR!

He not only talked to us about birds, but sang us a song about nature in German, then translated it for us!

He also showed us how to use our binoculars the correct way! You would think it’s pretty self explanatory, but did you know you can adjust them based off of you are a glasses or non glasses user? Yeah, neither did any of us!

He also told us that you adjust your left eye focus first, then your right focus, and then you can move the binoculars to better fit on your face to be used!

Another thing he told us about was an app that you can use to identify birds! It records the sound they are making and can tell you what bird it is!

Come play bingo with us at the Main Street Center!!! Kristi Wolbert did!!

It was wonderful having Kristi (the previous manager at the Clarion Senior Center) come play bingo with us.

Bingo is every Thursday at the Clarion Senior Center on Main Street across from Daddy's.

No need to sign up for bingo, only if you plan to stay for the lunch.

To play bingo, you must be 18 or older, and to stay for lunch, you must be 60 or older.

*****We will have a back up location in case of rain. The back up location is the Rimersburg Borough building. The address is 27 Main St. Rimersburg, PA.

This is only a back up!! So as of right now, please plan to still go to the Sligo Pool for the event.

We will call the week of if we need to use the back up location.

Well, we have a FREE event hosted by the Primary Health Network and Clarion Area Agency on Aging. The only thing that you may want to bring money for is if you want to buy extra tickets for the raffle baskets (everyone gets one free ticket with RSVPing and showing up)

It is open to Seniors 60 and up.

Today the Knox ladies played a guessing game. Participants brought in photos of them at the age of around 5 or younger. We then guessed who it was in the photo.

The Main Street Center made some red, white and blue wreaths for Memorial Day.

Thank you to all the brave men and women that have served our country and fight for our freedom, this past weekend we remembered those that lost their lives for their country. Thank you.

The Main Street Center also painted flower pots and planted flowers with Jen Benson from the Travelling Greenhouse.

The Rimersburg Center had a wonderful week indulging in some pampering from the cosmo students at the career center and a picnic at the Rimersburg Center to celebrate the beautiful weather! 💇🏼‍♀️💆🏼‍♀️💅🏼🌞😋

If you open a letter with a plastic Medicare card in it, don't "activate it." This is a scam. Medicare is not sending plastic Medicare cards. Report this to the SMP.
