Well this concludes a long campaign.

I have called and messaged Mayor Joe Pitts and congratulated him on his victory tonight.

I first want to thank God for allowing me the opportunity to run for the Mayor of this great city.
Secondly I want to thank my supporters all those who voted for me. It's truly an humbling experience. Over 8700 people wanted me to be their mayor. 😀

Although we came up short of our goal God has the final say.

Thank you all again and please continue to be active in local government.

I'm greatful for all of you who have contributed to this campaign. This has been a grassroots campaign from the start. I've had contributions as low as $2.00. Yes and those two dollars represented someone who believed in the vision. It represented someone who did have much but they wanted to see a change. 😔

We can see the finish line. We're almost there.

Best day of voting this cycle!

2264 votes cast today.

19300 total votes cast during early voting.

I'm physically tired but I can truly say that there's no substitute for meeting voters who walk over to my tent and ask about my platform and share their concerns.

Clarksvillians who educated themselves before going into the polls so that they can make an informed decision.

One older gentleman looked me in the eyes and said " Are you up for the task?"

I answered him by saying " Yes sir I'm ready and able to take on leading this great city"

He said "Well Mr. Allen I'm headed in to cast my vote for you to be my next Mayor, Let's get moving!" 😀
