I want to congratulate Corey Yarbrough on his victory and wish him success as he takes on the responsibility of serving our county. Leadership is never easy, and our community deserves commitment, transparency, and hard work every single day.

To everyone who supported this campaign — thank you. Your encouragement, prayers, time, and belief in our vision meant more than words can express. This campaign was built on the values of small-town pride, strong families, responsible leadership, and a genuine love for our community. Those values do not end with an election.

Although I may not hold the office, I will never stop caring about the future of our county or working to make it stronger. I encourage everyone to stay involved, stay informed, and continue supporting the people and places that make our hometown special.

This is not the end of service — it is simply another chapter.

I will support Corey in our district and help in any way I can!

I'm a little overwhelmed today with emotions! This is a very big step and important role... giving your all to those in your community while being 100% present in your job and your family! I do not take this lightly!

Whatever the outcome, I have prayed about, over and through this journey!

Today's topic for County Commissioner- Landfill

Last night at the BOC meeting we were given some very good feedback on the landfill! There are some interest in the landfill to use it which would create more revenue for the landfill at NO EXPENSE to the county! We must investigate these options!

If elected Commissioner, I will continue to help seek out options to bring revenue in our county that's beneficial and will help offset taxes! We must find a way to make taxes work for us unless legislation decides to get rid of property taxes! It's the only way to balance the Digest, lower taxes and help our citizens!

Todays topic for County Commissioner-
I was asked today - Can I support you even though you are not in my district and can I have a yard sign?
My answer- yes, of course you can and thank you very much because I honestly feel that I do represent a district but I will help the entire county! She said, absolutely, that's true.

My take away- we need to look at this representation for our county, not just one district. I am absolutely prepared for this journey. I have been preparing for years for this step by attending meetings, being on different boards, showing up and standing up for our community far before this election. I will understand where we are in the areas of budget, landfill, taxes, consolidation and hospital bond. I will share and be transparent on my findings and questions to not only my district but to all citizens of Evans County! I appreciate everyone's support this far!!!!

I’m honored to announce my campaign for District 3 County Commissioner!

I am a lifelong resident and business owner of Evans County. I love our town and community and have shown that compassion by actively serving on The Board of Equalization, Tax Assessor Board and regularly attending Board of Commissioner's meetings standing up for our community. I feel my experience and proven dedication will give me the foundation needed to be a great commissioner!

As our community continues to grow, we need leadership that focuses on responsible growth. I believe in careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars, transparent decision-making, and listening to the people we serve.

I would appreciate all the prayers and support as I start this journey and would be honored to earn your support and vote!

I WILL STAND for the betterment of our citizens and community!
