Today’s one of the most important decisions you’ll ever have to make. You get to decide in what direction this nation,state, and even county will be steered for the next several years. Don’t take that lightly. Don’t let someone else make that decision for you. PLEASE VOTE!! We’re at a crucial point in our nations history and although I believe wholeheartedly that God is in control, I also believe that he gives us the responsibility to do what’s right and pleasing according to his word. Approximately 24 hrs from now the sheriffs race will be decided so I thought I’d say thanks to everyone that’s cast a vote including tomorrow for me and my family. Your encouragement, support and especially prayers have been deeply appreciated throughout this whole process.

With only 19 more days till the election I apologize to those that have ask for a sign. My dad had a stroke a few weeks ago and my attention was on him. Unfortunately we lost him and we laid him to rest Sunday. I feel that he was very proud of me for taking this step to run for sheriff. He told the family he was going to be my deputy 😀. Heaven Got a little sweeter.
I’m going to be out more the next few weeks meeting and talking with the residents of the county and getting to know more about what the people are wanting and expecting from me if I win this election. Thank you again for the support.

Just an update. I’ve been asked by a few people and so has my wife if I really want to be sheriff. This decision wasn’t taken lightly by no means. Many prayers, discussions and even encouragement from others made it clear for us. Running for sheriff for me is one of the biggest decisions I’ve made in my life. I’ll always put the people of this counties needs above my own, and I actually believe that the phrase protect and serve is an honor as well as my duty. Ive talked to a lot of people from all political parties the past few months and I believe I have a grasp of what this county needs and expects from me if I win the office of sheriff.
Drugs is a big topic and concern for many if not all , practically everyone I know has a family member or friend with a drug problem myself included, so I take it VERY serious and dealing with it will be a priority.
I would like to add more deputies but with the counties financial issues that will take some creative thinking and no I’m NOT thinking levy. Another area I would like to expand and use more is the reserves. They serve an important role for the county that is overlooked and under appreciated by many. This is just a glimpse of the direction I plan on taking the sheriffs department.
If you feel I’m the right man for the job then cast your vote for me and my family this general election.
