Brush 41 continues to operate at a large brush fire in West Deptford. The initial alarm went out this morning just before 11am. Multiple county and state resources are operating at this time.

Squad 41, ladder 41 along with squad 26 (Glassboro Fire Department) operated on this crash that resulted in an extended extrication.

Here we go again!! With more snow in the forecast we remind everyone to remove vehicles from the roadways for our public works to be able to clear the roadways and intersections. This snowfall seems it will heavily impact Monday mornings commute, so please be safe if you must get to work. Heavy, wet snow and high winds are forecasted, please ensure you have candles, flashlights, and other essentials in case of a power outage! Our officers will be out working diligently to keep everyone and the roadways safe! 🥶🥶❄️❄️🌬️🌬️

Just after 12pm today squad 41 operated at a storage facility fire in Williamstown. The squad operated just under 2 hours before being released.

Just after 10am squad 41 responded to a dwelling fire in Glassboro. Squad 41 acted as the RIT team until the fire was quickly brought under control.

Last night, members continued taking advantage of the cold weather conditions and trained on the ice, removing victims from the water. As another reminder, we are supposed to be getting temperatures above freezing, so remember: no ice is safe ice!

Crews are still taking advantage of the cold weather and the ice. We will be back out at the retention pond on Garwood Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. Members will be training on the ice, so there is no emergency happening at this time.

Last night squad 41 operated on this 2 alarm fire in the Williamstown section of Monroe Twp. Initial crews arrived to a large single story house with heavy fire conditions in the garage area. The squad operated for about 5 hours before being released

Tonight your Clayton Fire Department is conducting training in the area of Garwood Boulevard at the retention pond. We want to take this time to remind our residence that although the ponds look frozen thin ice compose as a real hazard. We urge our residence to stay off of frozen bodies of water and exercise caution when enjoying the outdoors around them. Although your Fire Department trains for these types of emergencies, we would prefer if we did not have to respond to them.
