Moshannon Forest Fire Fighters Association The MFFFA is a dedicated group of individuals committed to wildland fire suppression. We support DCNR in wildfire suppression throughout Pennsylvania.

The Moshannon Forest Fire Fighters Association is a crew of trained professionals in wildland fire. When DCNR calls for assistance, we mobilize a team and travel to the designated area to assist.

This work capacity test is an opportunity to complete the required physical fitness test for participation in wildland fire support and out-of-state wildfire assignments.

Some stuff coming up:
Need to start thinking about fall fire. Past few years have produced some big 🔥 in state.
Sept 19 and 20 Smokey programs.
19th at West Decater 10-2
20th at Treasure lake 3-7.
Both events are huge.
Oct 3rd rendezvous at the shed.
Gonna pal around with anyone involved with wildfire regionally.
Could have a S-130 field day and a pack test.
Will know more later.
Thats enough for now.

Work party August 13 at 1000.
Time to start thinking about fall fire.
Big day Oct 3rd.
Holding a rendezvous at the shed. Inviting all from the region interested in wildfire. Forestry will be involved. More on that later.
Jay Gafford is wrapping up a roll to Minnesota. Tom Evans is enroute to the same area.
George Black is mobilizing Saturday.
Don't know about Lewis or Jaden...
