Honoring Bradley Central FFA Association at Last Night's County Commission Meeting!

Last week, we celebrated National FFA Week, a tradition that dates back 76 years to recognize the incredible contributions of Future Farmers of America across the nation. Last night at the County Commission meeting, it was an absolute pleasure to recognize and commend Bradley Central's FFA chapter for its outstanding achievements!

This dedicated group of students attended the National FFA Organization's Convention last Fall, where their hard work and commitment were truly showcased. During the convention, the local chapter proudly received its 56th consecutive gold-level award, a testament to its unwavering excellence in agricultural education and leadership.

It's inspiring to see the passion and dedication of our future farmers, and we are thrilled to announce that they are already hard at work on their 57th consecutive gold-level award.

Bradley Central High School's FFA Chapter, you make us proud, and we are grateful for your positive impact on our community!

I was recently made aware of a new non-profit that is doing some amazing work to help many in the community who are struggling and I wanted to spread the news and help promote them as they are running on a shoestring budget and are in need of funding. They have helped over 140 family's with food/clothing and handyman services since starting last September. If they can do this with very little funding I am excited to see what they can accomplish with a little help from the community in the form of monetary donations. We are getting closer to greatly improving access to internet service for the residents of bradley county. This is exciting! But it's also a very important time for your voice to be used and heard when it comes to this project. I encourage anyone with questions or concerns to attend this meeting.
