I voted against this resolution, in fact, I was the first sitting board member in Lakota’s history to participate in public comment all to argue against the decision before the board made it on Monday night.

These are parents who pay property taxes towards a district from whom the only service they use is transportation.

Even if it is an inconvenience for the district, this decision pulled the rug out from underneath these busing reliant families last minute, with just 2-3 weeks before the school year.

What an exciting day yesterday touring around the Butler County Fair with Butler Tech FFA students from Talawanda, Edgewood, Ross and Madison.

It was great hearing from these talented individuals on their projects, experiences, and leadership development in agricultural education.
