Sinners and Knitters To bring love to vulnerable and at-risk children with the gift of a blanket made by people that remember them. A social and outreach program, headquartered at Clifton Heights United Methodist Church in Clifton Heights, PA, we make and distribute handcrafted blankets to vulnerable and at-risk children.

A chapter of the national charity Binky Patrol, Delaware Valley Binky Patrol focuses on children who have experienced abuse or a traumatic event, or are in foster care or are homeless. We serve all children regardless of any socio-economic, cultural, or religious status.

Huge thank you to Johnson & Johnson for donating 28 handmade fleece blankets. During a leadership meeting, young staffers initated a blanket-making event and delivered their efforts to uson Saturday January 9th.


The Delaware Valley Binky Patrol celebrated Christmas by donating 50 blankets to Norristown's Giving Tree, a charity that supports children with parents with mental health issues.


So thrilled! Generally spring and summer are slow times when it comes to receiving blanket donations, but a group of rogue quilters contacted me yesterday about sending Binky Patrol some handmade blankets. They received a generous donation of fabric and they are passing on the love.


Thank you to Girls Scouts of Lansdowne for your wonderful help in creating no sew fleece blankets for Valentine's Day. This was my first binkathon with a girl scout troop and those girls were fast!


Talk About Perfect Timing: I got an email from a homeless shelter for blankets for three babies yesterday and a box of hand crocheted binkies arrived this morning from a new volunteer! Thank you Gina B!


This Christmas, Binky Patrol was able to donate 50 blankets to a charity Christmas party for children in need. Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed their time and talents to create lovely blankets and a special thanks to Kevin for delivering said blankets!


Another thank you is due to FXI, a bedding company in Media, for their generous donation of fabric to Binky Patrol. Where my quilters at?


The summer has been slipping away from me but giving never stops. I would like to offer a thank you to Alpha Delta Kappa Zeta, an international fraternal order of women educators, for donating 13 fleece blankets this summer. I have already donated several of this binkies to a local homeless shelter.


A warm thank you to FXI, a commercial bedding company, for donating three huge boxes of fabric on a ridiculously windy day.


Big thank you from Burlington, NJ based Wilbur Watts Elementary School for making twenty blankets and delivering them to the Delaware Valley Binky Patrol despite the snowmaggen.
