The Clifton Advisory Beautification Committee in Clifton, NJ is made up of volunteer residents appointed by the Mayor and City Council, whose mission is to seek out, initiate and encourage civic beautification projects. In it's 30+ year history, this has included seeking grant funding for tree and flower plantings in City Parks, on the City Hall Complex, and other locations across the City. In addition, the Committee has helped to recognize home owners and businesses who have made an exceptional effort to help beautify Clifton at their residential and commercial properties. 🌲🥾 Celebrate National Trails Day with Us!

Join Passaic County Parks & Recreation on Saturday, June 6 for a full day of themed hikes across our county parks! From bird watching and nature journaling to dog-friendly hikes, trail running, and a beautiful sunset hike—there’s something for everyone to enjoy outdoors.

Grab your sneakers, bring your friends (and pups 🐾), and explore the best of our trails! 🌿

Starting May 2, join us every first Saturday of the month from 9 until 11:30, rain or shine, to help beautify our Preserve. We’ll meet at the Riverview Drive entrance for starters. Bring drinking water and wear your gardening best - we’ll supply the rest. And every session, one lucky raffle winner gets a Bonsal T-shirt!

PS Note that, in July, we’ll meet on the 11th instead, to celebrate the 4th.

Community supporting community. It’s a wonderful thing. Thank you Carlos and the gang from the Grand Saloon for giving us the opportunity to raise funds for a CHS scholarship from the Clifton Advisory Beautification Committee.
We also celebrated longtime member Barbara Watterston’s 91st birthday.
