On Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.

As a veteran, I hold deep gratitude for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Our residents should be able to access critical services and resources provided by Passaic County without fear of harassment, targeting. or detention based on ethnicity, national origin, or any other discriminatory factor. Passaic County banned ICE from operating on any county property in February 2026, and continues to support Governor Mikie Sherrill's efforts to further protect our community from ICE trampling on our civil rights. To ensure we can continue to protect our community, we need to maintain public officials who will take real action to stand up against MAGA attacks - not just talk.
