Celebrating America 250 in Style for a Great Cause! ☕🇺🇸
We had such a wonderful afternoon hosting our America 250 Tea in support of the Sampson County History Museum! Proceeds from this special fundraiser are bringing us one step closer to restoring the historic home that will serve as the museum’s new welcome center. 🏠✨
Guests stepped back in time—some even arriving in beautiful period costumes! A highlight of the event was Alison Carr as Betsy Ross, who warmly greeted guests, served tea, and presented a fascinating program on Betsy Ross’s life.
Every participant took home a beautifully wrapped tea cup and saucer set—expertly gift-wrapped by Judy Naylor of Sampson Regional Medical Center. Proceeds from the gift wrapping support SRMC's hospitality cart! ❤️
