Local and state leaders recently toured a new PFAS treatment facility in Avon as Connecticut Water continues to make progress on more than twenty projects throughout the state that will proactively meet the new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) PFAS regulations set to be in effect in 2029. This assures CWC customers will continue receiving drinking water that meets all state and federal regulations.
