Good afternoon all. Little update: The courts have received Brads objections to dismissal. The Att. Gen. Has until May 8 th for reply. So we are in a back and forth at the moment.
Aside from that, I want to put out info on this virus and the prison system. There is a plan and Criteria inmates must met for a release.

Brad is convicted in SC but housed in Va. Sc is NOT looking into the same types of cases as Va. so he is not a candidate right now for SC BUT he would be for Va if/when it gets to that. In the near future, I may ask for more support from you all in sending e mails to Governors office of Va and Sc.

Good eve y’all. Here’s an update, it’s pretty basic and short. The Att. Gen. of S.C. motioned for a dismissal. ( ofc they would) The Federal District Judge is suggesting a dismissal. They are pretty much ignoring the recanted statement. They also say that some of the issues that were put in ( by us) should have been raised at Brads PCR hearing. Basically it’s “ oh well, you didn’t follow protocol”.
BUT all issues put in, were in fact brought to PCR but the appointed attorney did NOT do his job and bring them to light. Every time Brad tried to bring them up, the PCR judge would shoot them down, not wanting to hear them.
Brad will have 30 days to object to the dismissal. ( even tho it is Federal court, it is still in a S.C. district court. ) If the habeas is denied/dismissed, our next step is Richmond VA!! To the fourth Circuit. This gets him outside of S.C. courts! Which is what we definitely want! So in the mean time, say a prayer or two for him please!

Hello all!! It’s been a while I know. Have had a lot going on. So the new update is: as y’all know, Brad filed his Habeas in Federal Court.
Well today the Attorney General asked for a 30 day extension due to case load. The exten. Was granted along with this msg, Brad has GOOD CAUSE in his case!
They have 30 days to come up with firm solid evidence and reasoning (which they can’t) or offer him a lessor Plea out, OR just cut him loose!!

Morning! Sending out an update. Federal court has excepted the case and the Attorney Gen. has been served! So we are hopeful they do something! If not, we are RICHMOND bound!

The U.S Federal courts and Attorney General now have Brads case. Please, what ever God you pray to, just pray for this man, pray hard. The stress is really starting to kick in. His mom, some family members, me, most of all Brad. Lost hours of sleep, anxiety, many different emotions happening. We could all use a whispered prayer but for Brad, pray loud, pray strong, pray a few times. Thanks for continued support.

Good evening! It’s been a little busy the past couple of days. I have had the pleasure of meeting/speaking with a Joseph and Christie from North Carolina.
Their son, Tommy Benton, is also wrongfully convicted out of Horry County S.C. I spoke on the phone with Christie for about 2 1/2 hours or longer. We instantly found similarities between her sons case and Brads, all on the end of Horry County. Christie and her husband have become a voice/advocate for wrongfully convicted inmates of Horry Co. After msgs and phone conversation, I looked up a few cases that Christie and Joseph mentioned. I am astounded at how many people this has and continues to happen to from that county!
Here are a few they mentioned, please, look them up, read about their cases!
Richard Gagnon
Julia Gorman
Alex Robinson
Gary Bennett
Heather Simms
Kevin Bryant
When you include Brad and Christie’s son Tommy, that is 8 cases to many!
Sadly I tell you there is even more.

To Christie, I’d like to say, It was a pleasure speaking with you and msg with Joseph. I look forward to speaking more with you in the near future. We fight the same battle and anything I can do from here just let me know! It would be my pleasure! I’d also like to thank you and Joseph for reaching out, contacting me and so grateful for the help, the voice and the fight together!

It’s been a while so thought we would update everyone. Brads case is still standing still at the moment. We have someone already working on a federal
Habeas Corpus and it’s really REALLY looking great! Aside from the obvious problems in his case, this guy has pointed out a LOT more! We are pretty excited about it. In the meantime, Brad continues to go to electrical school in the mornings then straight to work. He has a BIG test coming up soon. If he scores high it can license him for ANY and ALL states!
He is really working hard for it. He stays up half the night to study.
Im really proud of him but more importantly he is very proud of himself for everything he has accomplished so far.😊
