The Clive Police Department’s "Crisis Intervention Team" could end as the grant money that supports it begins to run out. The CIT responds to mental health emergencies, homelessness-related calls and domestic violence situations.

A public hearing will be held for the proposed property tax levy on Thursday, March 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers in Clive City Hall (1900 NW 114th Street). Clive will keep its property tax rate at $9.92 per $1,000 of taxable value. By controlling costs, improving efficiency, and using cash reserves, Clive will continue delivering value for taxes paid.
