Sometimes our job is about more than inspections and fire prevention — it’s about serving our community in every way we can. 🚒🔧

Today, our Fire Marshal took a few minutes to lend a helping hand to a young resident by assisting with a quick bike repair. A small act can make a big difference, and we’re always proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another.

At the Clute Fire Marshal’s Office, we’re here to keep our community safe, supported, and connected — both on and off the job.

🚫🔥 Brazoria County Burn Ban Now in Effect 🔥🚫

With extremely dry conditions across the county, outdoor burning is temporarily prohibited. Even small fires can quickly become dangerous under these conditions.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to prevent wildfires and protect lives and property.

❄️🚰 Clute Residents — Protect Your Pipes in the Cold!

With temperatures dropping dangerously low, frozen pipes can become a big problem—especially in older homes or mobile homes.

Here are quick steps to help prevent damage:
• Let faucets drip to keep water moving
• Open cabinet doors under sinks so warm air can reach the pipes
• Keep your thermostat steady — don’t turn it down overnight
• If your sink is on an exterior wall: open cabinets + drip the faucet
• Keep garage doors closed to protect plumbing
• Know where your main water shutoff valve is in case of an emergency

If you notice low water flow or frost on pipes, act early to avoid a bigger issue.
Stay warm and stay prepared, Clute! 💙❄️

❄Cold Weather Reminder: Protect the 4 P’s! ❄
As temperatures drop, don’t forget to take a few simple steps to stay safe and warm:
People – Check on family, friends, and neighbors who may need extra help.
Pets – Bring them inside or provide warm shelter.
Plants – Cover or move them to protect from the cold.
Pipes – Wrap exposed pipes and let faucets drip when temps dip.

A little preparation goes a long way—stay warm, Clute!
