We’re proud to partner with Clute Intermediate School and the amazing 3rd grade students for their Annual Food Drive! 🥫💛

These students are on a mission to help stock the shelves of Brazosport Cares, providing food assistance to families and individuals in need throughout our community.

This program offers free repairs or full reconstruction for eligible homeowners whose primary residence was damaged by the 2024 severe storms, flooding, tornadoes, or Hurricane Beryl. 🔥 Burn Ban Lifted in Brazoria County 🔥

The Brazoria County Burn Ban has been lifted effective today, March 12, 2026.

With recent rainfall and improved conditions, outdoor burning is now permitted. However, residents are still encouraged to use caution when conducting any outdoor burning and to remain mindful of changing weather and dry vegetation.

Please burn responsibly and always keep safety in mind.

Today, our Fire Marshal took a few minutes to lend a helping hand to a young resident by assisting with a quick bike repair. A small act can make a big difference, and we’re always proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another.

🚫🔥 Brazoria County Burn Ban Now in Effect 🔥🚫

With extremely dry conditions across the county, outdoor burning is temporarily prohibited. Even small fires can quickly become dangerous under these conditions.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to prevent wildfires and protect lives and property.

All City Offices and The Fitness Center will be CLOSED and there will be NO trash pick up today. We plan to resume regular operating schedules on Tuesday. Stay warm Clute!
