Looking for free summer family fun?

Visit a local splash pad, pack a picnic, or go on a neighborhood scavenger hunt.

Creating memories doesn’t have to cost money, connection matters most.

There are currently 1,221 children in foster care in Idaho.

But these children are not just a number.
They are kids with favorite colors, big dreams, and hard stories. They are siblings who want to stay together, teens hoping someone will believe in them, and little ones looking for safety, stability, and love.

Behind every number is a child who deserves to feel seen, supported, and cared for.

Foster care changes lives—not just for children, but for the families and communities who step up to help. Whether through fostering, respite care, mentoring, donating, or simply sharing awareness, you can make a difference.

1,221 children. 1,221 stories. 1,221 reasons to care.

Because kids are never just a number.

A foster home for every neighborhood.
That’s the goal.
When children enter foster care, staying near their school, friends, activities, and support systems can make all the difference. But too often, there aren’t enough foster homes nearby.
What if every neighborhood had families ready to step in with love, safety, and stability?
You could be the reason a child stays connected to their community. 💙

Summer is a season for memories—and every child deserves to feel safe, included, and cared for. Whether it’s backyard games, popsicles, or bedtime stories, the little moments matter. Thank you to Idaho foster families who help children feel at home.
