The Town is proposing a new police station project designed to meet the operational needs of today’s Cohasset Police Department. After two years of review and evaluation, the current proposal reflects what is required to support modern policing by addressing technology, safety, evidence handling, and day-to-day operations, while remaining mindful of long-term value for taxpayers.

Total project cost: $28 million
Funds remaining from 2023 appropriation: $5 million
New funding request: $23 million
