October Business Spotlight | Great Tails Animal Rescue
This month, we’re proud to spotlight Great Tails Animal Rescue, a nonprofit animal rescue serving Itasca County and surrounding communities!
Located at: 34572 Whitetail Blvd, Cohasset, MN
Since 2018, Great Tails has provided temporary shelter, medical care, and second chances for stray, abandoned, and surrendered dogs, cats, and small domestic pets. As a foster-based rescue, their mission is simple: give animals the care they need and help them find safe, permanent homes. ❤
Great Tails was founded after its volunteers saw a growing need for animal rescue services in the area. That passion for animal wellness has continued to grow—and recently reached an exciting milestone with the opening of their brand-new, standalone rescue center right here in Cohasset!
The new facility was truly a community effort. Funds were raised in just over two years, and the facility went from groundbreaking to completion in only one year. Great Tails continues to rely on dedicated volunteers and foster families, with an entirely volunteer-based board helping lead the organization.
When asked about their experience in Cohasset, Great Tails shared: “Cohasset is a fantastic place to build a business or organization.” They also highlighted the support they've received from the community and city.
