South Campus Commons at The University of Maryland - College Park Year round home to an upperclass housing community for University of Maryland students. It is located on the southwest corner of the campus.

South Campus Commons is one of the University of Maryland’s public-private partnership undergraduate student apartment communities. Capstone On-Campus Management oversees most elements of the operation, while the UMD Department of Resident Life oversees the resident life program. South Campus Commons is a community of seven apartment buildings exclusively for undergraduate UMD students; with class

es, restaurants, and shopping nearby! South Campus Commons offers an array of residential services and amenities like high-speed internet connection, all utilities included, full sized appliances, in-apartment laundry, fully furnished apartment, and so much more!

Guess what folks! Today March 10th is SUPER MARIO DAY!!! 🍄🐢👷🏽‍♂️ Did you know that although Super Mario debuted in Super Mario Bros in 1985, Super Mario actually made an appearance in 1981 in Donkey Kong but he was known as “Jump man”. He was the famous character attempting to save his friend Pauline from Donkey Kong by climbing up the red ladders and jumping Donkey Kong’s Barrels. Another fun fact is that Super Mario first job was as a carpenter in Donkey Kong but switched to his famous career in plumbing shortly after!

We hope everyone has a happy, safe, and healthy memorial day on Monday. SCC offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Service Desks will maintain normal operations.
