Memorial Day was never meant to be just another long weekend.

It’s a day set aside to remember the men and women who left behind families, futures, and everything familiar so the rest of us could live free.

While we enjoy the time with friends, family and flags waving in the summer sun, it’s worth remembering that someone paid dearly for those freedoms.

Today isn’t about celebration as much as it is remembrance.

Honor the fallen, remember their sacrifice and live in a way worthy of it.

Reel Warriors Foundation is a group of combat veterans from different branches that have a love for fishing and the great outdoors. For veterans returning from deployment or transitioning to civilian life there are many stressors and struggles.

Our goal is to provide a network of support and the opportunity for a brief break through outdoor activities with other veterans.
