This is the official page of the Lower Paxton Township Police Department in Dauphin County.

Lower Paxton Township is the 17th largest municipality in Pennsylvania by population. The Township is dissected by US Rt 22, a major business corridor for the Harrisburg area, and I-83 and I-81, major north-south interstates, intersect within the Township. The Police Department has an authorized strength of 58 sworn personnel divided into three divisions, Patrol, Criminal Investigation and Adminis

trative. The Department is accredited by the PA Chiefs of Police and handles over 22,000 calls for service, 2500 criminal offenses and 400 crashes per year.
