Our SPARK students showed off some mad skills carving their pumpkins this week. They're getting ready for the spooky season. What could be better than a little Scooby Doo in the background to get them in a creative mood? 🎃👻🍁🍂

These HSA parent volunteers know how to "cut a rug" with their demonstration of the Lindy Hop and other dance moves for the Middle School Arts class. Now, that's how it's done!

Our HSA Fall Festival and Chili Cookoff had a fantastic turnout with a whopping 465 students and families in attendance! Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, games, dancing, crafts and face painting. Our PTO really brought the fun with their hard work and planning to make the evening a great success. Many thanks to all who volunteered and put in so many hours to make it a night that won't soon be forgotten. The Fall season is officially off to a fabulous start.🍁🍂🎃

Field Day at HSA was awesome! It was super intense, and full of competitive spirit! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and variety of games like tug-o-war, gunny sack races, foam pickle-ball and, of course, a cold treat at the end! Shoutout to our amazing parent volunteers who kept it all together at each station. We're basically the luckiest program ever with 5 whole Field Days. One for each amazing group of students. Which means 5 times the fun and 5 times the memories!😎🏃🌞

🏆 Their impact deserves to be remembered.

The D20 Hall of Excellence celebrates alumni, former staff and community members whose contributions have made a lasting difference across Academy District 20.

Think of the teacher you’ll never forget. The graduate making an impact beyond D20. The community member who always showed up.

Now, nominate them. 💙

This week, Mrs. Park's Space Class had a stellar time learning more about the complex features of the sun at Home School Academy. Our sun is a dynamic living star that is constantly changing. Each student took a turn viewing sun spots with a very powerful telescope brought my MESO, the Mobile Earth & Space Observatory. Thank you for this educational experience that was out of this world!🌞🌠🔭

The TRACKS students are captivated by Mrs. Nagle's lesson about the Steller's Jay, a common year-round resident in Colorado's beautiful mountains and evergreen forests.

We had a fantastic first week at HSA! We loved seeing all the new and familiar faces who are returning and ready to start the new school year! We know our students are off to a great start to their enrichment classes in Steam, Space, Set Design, TRACKS and many of our other programs. Ready, get-set, let's go!🏃🏃‍♀️🎉
