South Carolina hospitals are stretched thin, and the lack of access to health care services because Medicaid has not been expanded is making this situation worse. More than 345,000 South Carolinians fall into the coverage gap, meaning they make too much for traditional Medicaid and too little to afford private insurance. When South Carolinians can't get coverage, they delay care, and cancers are often found too late.

Will you take one minute today to send a message to your state representative, urging them to support Medicaid expansion? South Carolinians need you.

South Carolina is one of just 10 states that haven’t expanded Medicaid. It’s hurting patients, driving costs, and putting rural hospitals at risk of closure. Lawmakers can fix this, but they need to hear from YOU.
