Columbia Public Schools' Planetarium

Columbia Public Schools' Planetarium Columbia Public Schools Planetarium at Rock Bridge High School Public shows are available the 2nd Saturday of each month. It’s a virtual Universe.

The Columbia Public Schools Planetarium, located at Rock Bridge High School, has inspired countless children since its opening in 1974. The planetarium services Columbia Public School groups as well as school districts around mid-Missouri. Check out our website: http://cpsplanetarium.org for more information. The CPS Planetarium is not an IMAX theater, an astronomical observatory, or a scientific

laboratory. It brings the stars to your fingertips, letting you stare deep into the night sky on the cloudiest of nights or the middle of the day. It lets you zoom through the Galaxy on a virtual spaceship. You can even be transported, within seconds, to the southern hemisphere and view the stars from anywhere on Earth as they were at any point in time.
