EdVenture Children’s Museum's annual Celebration of Countdown to Kindergarten is happening Friday, August 6th from 5 pm to 7 pm. The goal is to prepare rising kindergartners and their families for the first day of school. Children will have the opportunity to:
•Practice school readiness skills in a mock classroom.
•Practice loading on and off a real school bus.
•Meet with local education advocates and vendors to answer questions about the big day.
•Enjoy museum play.

The National Safety Council has a free online course about the danger of vehicular heatstroke and children, the three primary circumstances that lead to children dying, and what we all can do to prevent these deaths.
